I’ll come pick you up tomorrow, so we can have a couple of grogg’s at my place

(If I’m fit for it, I’ll come before the liquor store closes, so we can get some beer and cider as well)

In only two days I’ll leave the city where I was born and where I have lived for almost 22 years. It was scary at first but now I feel rather good about it actually. I’m looking forward to exploring Karlshamn and having a few pints with Hans.

I’ve got a 2 room apartment and everything’s been taken care of, so the stress is gone now. I’ve bought all the big things that were missing, like a computer desk (perfect for a digital audio workstation), a carpet, lamps…and I’ll get some stuff from my parents. It’ll be fun having a home of my own to decorate etc. But it’s expensive… :-/ And I won’t have a broadband connection there…at least not at first. I hope it doesn’t get too lonely…

School starts on September 2, but before that the older students arrange a week of partying and playing around so that we get to know each other and to find our way in town and at the university.

I’ll study media technology, which means I’ll do a lot of different things, like web programming in the first year, as well as some video production, and after that I can choose different courses, like 3D graphics, sound production, programming, etc.

I hope I’ll have a good time down there…wish me luck

Woke up this morning with a bit of a headache. No oxygene left in my bedroom. The heat is almost unbearable. Lucky I’m not a polar bear. (Actually that would be kinda neat in the winter). Played some Tori Amos on the keyboard while watching some kind of fly crawling around on my window. Wondered what it was trying to accomplish. Nothing in particular I reckon. Thought about killing it. Decided not to and went down to the kitchen instead to have breakfast.
